So if you guys have T-Mobile or Sprint for your phone you can get FREE mlb.tv -- I figured it out by downloading their "Tmobile Tuesdays" app but I'm not sure if that's the only way to get it.

Is it Free, or temporarily free?

MLB.TV has traditionally offered their whole slate of games to all during opening week and then again during the first week after the ASG.

I think it's free all year.

Seems odd that they'd give away their product like that ... but we'll see I guess.

Usually the way they roll is that you can buy a season's worth of one (out of town) team's games (~ $90) or the entire slate of games for about twice that.

Of course you can't get your home team that way -- and the definition of "home" team is subject to various conditions -- nor can you get games involving

your team if they're playing the team(s) that are considered home in your particular area.

And then, in addition to the free weeks to open the first and second halves of the season, there is usually one game each day which is free to all.

Every couple of innings, MLB.tv comes back from a commercial break and sends me into a highlight reel of memories and forgets to return to the game.

I have to click to another game and back before I realize that I've missed a batter or two.
