Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Two long at-bats to start the inning is something.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 So what do ya figure here, a couple runs in with the tying and winning on base ... and then two straight failures to leave them just short.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 The Marlin pitchers, the Marlin fielders, AND the HP ump are TRYING to hand us this game
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 Way to work the count, Pete!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE SWINGING AT?!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 Ends it with an even oh-fer-TEN ... that should drop the overall RiSP down closer to .200 It had risen to over.210 briefly but we knew that couldn't last.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 0-10 with RISP is awful for 9 innings lol, they only needed 7. Hope the night capis as thoroughly entertaining as the opening act. #lgm #ygb #ymdtf
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 A 7 inning game with 4 runs combined and it still managed to run 2:37 not even including the 1:05 rain delay.2:37 used to be known as a longer than average 9 inning game. This sport is committing suicide right in front of our eyes.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 I turned it off actually. Blame me if you like. But I'm back for game 2
