Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Anyhow, the real bonus material there to me was Torre saying that (a) Bob Gibson advocated for his trade from the Braves, and ( his notion that Gibson (it's hard to say how much he was kidding) knew nothing about baseball except how to pitch.Also cool to hear that Torre always let a player take over as manager for the final game of the season. I don't know how I didn't know that.
