Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I'm beginning to appreciate the goofiness of the Art of Pitching cover. I don;t think I've voted for it yet but just might this time
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Author Posted July 1, 2019 This poll is the last chance for both Seaver and Strawberry in this competition. .
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 As goofy as it is, I just feel like "The Art of Pitching" reflects too much of Seaver's arrogant side.Mr. Long Ball really captures the apex of the stored energy of a fully coiled Straw, with none of his focus lost. It's also hella intimate for a game photo. If you get a clear shot of Straw that tight, it's usually batting practice shot in one of those blue softball jerseys.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Went with Seaver, who I think is being more playful than arrogant here.
