Darryl seems upset he didn't make the cut for the The Best Infield Ever? barbershop quartet.



I do like that Straw is featured in the midst of his prime as opposed to all the early salutes to his potential. It was a helluva prime. But the Infield represents a moment in time unlike any other in Mets history, and for the premier national sports magazine to have recognized that was the manifestation of editorial harmonic convergence.

As for the infield, I can't figure out what they were hoping to achieve by underlining the headline.
