I would not trade five years of Nimmo or Rosario, or three years of Conforto, for one year of Castellanos. I would have to think then, that this would need to be a package of prospects led by Gimenez. Maybe you add in Lugo and replace Lugo with Adam Warren (or Gsellman and replace him with Robertson/Soria/Herrera), but that would be about it from the major league side as far as I can see.

This guy has DH written all over him so I’d be worried no matter where the Mets played him. For only 1 year of control I’d likely pass.

Very good hitter but a very bad fielder. He would have to come cheap compared to any centerfielders. I suppose that's possible, but I can't imagine there aren't any American League GMs with an opening at DH who wouldn't jump at the opportunity to get him.

WFAN's JJ (John Jastremski) Was in favor of getting this guy yesterday. He spent the entire intro to his show talking about him.
JJ is a screaming cretin, like Chris "Mad Dog" Russo.
So I was against this move.
