Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 I wonder how Sandy Alderson reacted to that press conference. After being handcuffed all those years then blamed for the shortcomings. I wish Sandy were a bit more reactionary and petty. Would love for him to write a tell all book.

Would love for him to write a tell all book. That's exactly what I was thinking recently. Sandy likely signed a non-disclosure as part of his Mets contract, so he'd ordinarily need the Mets permission to gossip. But -- and I don't really wanna sound ghoulish here even though I will -- if Sandy knows he's "going", maybe he doesn't give a shit and adds a coupl'a tell all chapters on the Wilpons for the revised edition of his last book, Baseball Maverick. Revenge for that snit Jeff dumping on Sandy all these years. Because Jeff's the baseball genius unless things go wrong -- then it's all on Sandy. What a crock.[fimg=333]https://si.wsj.net/public/resources/images/BN-HX082_bkrval_JV_20150415132007.jpg[/fimg]
