Guest 41Forever Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 That was both beautiful and heartbreaking.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Peter O'Brien = Hanley Ramirez.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Nothing against Rosario, but Wright should getting a third at bat right now.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 This whole thing was amazing. Kudos to the Mets, for once, for not fucking up a moment.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Now that they're going to the bottom of the seventh, I hope they don't continue to run back-end relievers out there. It'd be nice to give these fans a chance to go home with a win, and Wright a chance to go out with one.I'd like it for myself too.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Well, thanks for 2018, Nimms.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Oh crap. Nimmo looks hurt.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 The cameraman filming the Gelbs/Cuddyer interview was trying his hardest to keep the dark-haired camera whore out of the shot.He kept making slight movements to keep Cuddyer's (even grayer) head in her way.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Not a good night for basestealers.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Gotta like that Wright fam is still back there.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Mets have nothing but three catchers on the bench now: Lobatón, Mesoraco, Nido.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Stacking the strong side against Freeman McNeil is almost always overdoing it.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Yeah, but I would've guessed they'd spend the second half of the game in a hospitality suite.

I may have the details fuzzy on that.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Here's to that extra inch that the sliding mitten gives the human hand.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 The Mets are finding a way to extend David Wright's career. This game may never end.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 That was a heckuva catch by Conforto.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 here have been a few defensive gems in tonight's game. Each right fielder has made a stellar catch to take away a double. Both catchers have made some nice throws to nab attempted base stealers. Holaday definitely made some nice stops of wild sliders in the dirt with Dom Smith was on third base.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I agree with the sentiment expressed on the young lady's makeshift placard.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 The Mets should just bring in Sewald and end this thing.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 The Mets offense must have got confused and thought this was a DeGrom start.
