Lots of chatter from Cashman's comments that they're not averse to doing a Met deal.

I'd reluctantly do it if we soak them enough. Staple Cespedes or Cabrera to the deal, take back Frazier, Torres, Gray, and their top 3 prospects on top, something like that.

Then shop the deal around, leak to the press what the MFYs were willing to offer, and take the deal that tops it, leave the MFYs wanting
