Anything. You can’t let things go on like this.

Really. This team makes me hate baseball. And I love baseball.

No more Reyes, Bautista, Gonzalez.
It's a baseball team, not a nursing home.

Sherman says they're considering sending Conforto to Vegas, although with Cespedes not imminently returning less likely.

But they PHed for him last night down by 1 in the 9th and with a guy on base.

Yeah, that was something. In fact, it might have been doing something. Although taking a potshot and praying for blind luck to come around isn't exactly the top of the "something" list.

I'm going to get out my frustrations by beating the crap out of that little YLDB twit if he says anything to me in the office Monday morning.
And I mean ANYTHING, like "good morning". I've been meaning to do it all season, so this will be as good a time as any.

If you're referring to my nursing home quip, I apologize. To me, those three
mentioned are nothing more than place-holders and guys who wouldn't start on
15/16ths of the other MLB teams. I'm ready to see some younger place-holders
get a shot (and an opportunity to face some MLB pitching) since the season seems
to be in the crapper already this 10th day of June 2018.

I don’t think the season’s in the crapper — yet. Clock sure is ticking.

I think the Bautista move made sense after the injuries to Cespedes and Lagares. But you’re right about them being placeholders.

Having Cespedes back sure would help. But I read that he was pulled out of the rehab game last night. That’s not good.

Given that we’ve been generally unhappy with the way the Triple-A team has been preparing players, is there any real benefit to sending Conforto there?

Oh it's in the crapper alright, swirling, and about to disappear to wherever
stuff in the crapper disappears to hahahaha...

As long as Conforto continues to have a higher OPS than Gonzalez and Bruce, he’s not the biggest problem. I’m all for doing something, but the key is figuring out the right thing to do.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest assault probably isn't the
something to 'do.'

I agree with d'kong, this season bas been circling the bowl for a while and has now disappeared down tbe drain. Tbis team is fighting to stave off tbe Marlins, not striving to catch tbe tbe Braves (let alone catch the Nationals).the

Yeah, I know, Kase. It won't help the Mets , probably, at all.
But i'm not sure which is worse, going to jail or suffering through this season.
I'll find something else to do.

Maybe call off sick

Heck if the Mets win by, say, 20 runs tonight it’d be an edge

No, I was referring to pinch-hitting Bautista for Conforto.

No Cespedes antime soon, DiComo tweet

Yoenis Cespedes is going back to Florida to restart his treatment/rehab program after leaving last night's minor league game early. His return is totally up in the air now.

"We don't know," Mickey Callaway said. "We thought Tuesday was kind of going to be it."
