Guest cooby Guests Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Guys, I am in a keeper league. What do you think of Demario Davis?
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 i don't know the scoring in your fantasy league, but as a player, i think Davis had a career year and I wouldn't bet a lot on the likelihood that he'll duplicate it.
Guest cooby Guests Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Defensive players are given good scoring. He is listed in our stats as the #4 Defensive player in our league. For whatever reason, we didn't see very many Jets games this year so I have to go by your advice Thanks VicEdit and looking at his stats I see what you meanGuess I could have put this in the Jets thread but I wanted it to be seen. Now it won't
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 here's a really good article that analyzes what his number this year were likely based on and his potential value next season:https://www.ganggreennation.com/2018/2/2/16962658/a-comprehensive-look-at-demario-davis-value-to-the-jets
Guest cooby Guests Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 That is an excellent article! And check this out:As a sidenote, I think these things play into why so many free agents fail after signing in new places. The players move to new roles in new systems. They leave the coaches who knew how to use them properly and are given different jobs they might not be able to handle.Awesome insight
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 it really all depends on your scoring system. tackles arent the best indicator of skill, but if a guy starts at middle linebacker - particularly as the beefier of the two in a 3-4 system - he is going to accumulate lots of tackles.
Guest cooby Guests Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 yeah, I did not keep him. Looking into his yearly stats, I could see that last year was excellent but there had to be a reason for it. Hope he still does okay, but unless I redraft him, it won't be for me
