One of those quirky uniform things that a lot of people don't notice. Been that way for decades -- eight of them. Not any more. Team announced today that the D on the cap -- thinner, pointier -- will now be on the jersey as well.https://www.freep.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2018/01/25/detroit-tigers-home-uniforms/1063791001/The team switched its official logo from the Tiger walking through a D to the jersey D in 2006, then to the cap D a year or two ago.
