  19. d'oh! I thought I'd probably missed a thread.
  20. He signed with the Rays a couple weeks ago. My memory is constantly waiting for the Mets to call him up and give him another try, but after just one appearance and three innings, that was it for him.
  21. Todd, Gaspar and Allensworth are correct! New questions have been added. 1. I was sent to the Mets as a player to be named In my first year with them I pitched a few good games That second year with them just wasn't for me As I posted an ERA of 4.93 Following that year, I went 6-0 I was on my game, very well I did throw I did bad the next year and I was released and I was soon signed by another team on the east This was tacked on later: I was born in Oregon And I threw with my left hand At first I played with the Expos and with the Padres at the end Who am I? Hint: Had a nickname that paid homage to a Hall of Famer. Hint: Also pitched for the Expos, Phillies and Padres. Hint: Involved in this trade—August 16, 1982: the Montreal Expos sent this player to the New York Mets to complete an earlier deal made on August 4, 1982. August 4, 1982: The Montreal Expos sent a player to be named later to the New York Mets for Joel Youngblood. 2. Who am I? https://i.imgur.com/w3XgVYz.jpg> Hint: Was sent to the Mets as a player to be named. Hint: In his first year with them, he pitched a few good games. 3. My last name is something you do to a check By the way, did you notice? I have no neck. --originally posted by "VIBaseball" Hint: Played for the Mets in 2008 and 2009. 4. 1 year with the Mets I did play But for 15 games I did stay I was no Hall of Famer you can see only 282 career Rib-ees I couldn't find a place I played all infield positions except for first base (as a Met) I [then became] a coach with a team I once played for A hint for you, I'm strong as a boar. --originally posted by "NJMetfan4life" Hint: Played for the Mets in 1967. 5. Although I never played a game in a Mets uniform, I was on the roster and I have the distinction of being the first New York Mets player to RETIRE. Who am I? --originally posted by "Dalkowski110" Hint: A notable name in the Rochester, NY area. 22. Wright is still hanging on at over 5%. I'm surprised. It might seem sacrilegious, but he never struck me as a Hall of Famer. Reyes hopefully gets a little support; he's not good enough for 5%, but he should get SOME love. Colon has a vote already, which is cute. Abreu is one of those guys who'll stick around for the full 10 years then get elected via the VC in 25 years.
  23. Hints added above.
  24. He recently signed with the Orioles. He hit .500 for the Mets this year, and that's my primary memory of him.
  25. It feels like another 77-85 record roster.
