  7. Am I crazy, or should we let Joe Smith start the ninth? We got all lefties coming up? I'd hate to run out of pitchers again.

  12. I can't take another 8th and 9th like yesterday. That's why Endy's out there. Good job pal. Keep those legs stretched when you're sitting.
  13. I like Heilman. I think he has gotten a bad rap. Up until this year. This year he's been bad. That doesn't mean that the boo-birds aren't morons.
  14. I really can't believe this. Delgado.

  16. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Einstein the issue we have isn't "blame" but rather the dumb assessment that the offense "did its job" on a night where they left men on 3rd less than 2 out three times and went 9 scoreless innings. Nobody should dispute Pedro sucked and is deserving of blame. I think he should retire. But after his damage had been done and a 7 run lead was a 2 run lead you can no longer say the O "did its job" particularly when the "job" is to score more runs than the other team. No, Einstein, that's your strawman. I never said anything about the offense doing it's job, despite the fact that you put quotation marks around it. Here's what I said: "Pedro is to blame. 7 runs should be enough." A simple concept. Do you follow yet?
  17. http://cranepoolforum.net/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=9992 Einstein says it was the hitters fault. 7 R, 14 H, 9 LOB, no runs after the fourth. The starters: Pedro gave up 5 runs in 5 innings. The bullpen: 2 runs in the 6th through the 9th, 3 in the 6th through the 13th. They gave up the game tying in the 9th and the winning in the 13th.
  18. Do you really not understand the point I'm trying to make? It's not that complicated.

Yeah, that was a shot at those of you arguing that the O "had got the job done." I still say 7 runs is enough. I blame Pedro. The other guys scored 8, Einstein. Wow. Go to bed. 7 runs should be enough, Einstein. Yes, 7 should be more than 8. Oh I get it...so the offense should score at least 9 per game or else it's their fault. Thanks for clearing that up.

  21. I didn't think we'd make it through Schoeneweis.
