  2. Ya know, if Florida sweeps Philly they can still make the playoffs. Especially with the Milwaukee bandwagon hurtling off a cliff.

  7. Church is bad. Right. Gotcha. Loud and clear.
  8. It's rough when a team is down 6 in the fifth, gets into the bullpen, and thinks "We've got them right where we want them.".

  10. No. No. No. Too high. Too high.
  11. I lose.
  12. Beltran did yesterday! It's just Milledge was positioned on the warning track.
  13. Yep I'd say Beltran is on fire.
  14. When he came up spitting hot fire I was sure he was just a flash in the pan. After he went into a big slump I patted myself on the back. And then he proved me wrong. Thanks Fernando. Don't EVER dive for a ball again.

  16. TransMonk wrote: It seems like David Wright has done that his whole fucking career. I would bet that every scouting report for every team has: 1. Wright will take a first-pitch fastball down the middle which is an automatic 0-1 count. That doesn't make a lot of sense for someone who has a 139 career OPS+. And if it is true then it seems to be working anyway so who cares?
  17. We did that against the Braves too!!!
  18. I was sure you were wrong. I'm an idiot.
  19. Hey how about whatever you see, you keep it to yourself?
  20. Rockin' Doc wrote: More gagging and choking. Well Wright at least didn't choke last year. Not that that doesn't preclude him from choking now. And Delgado was a big barrel of suck all of last year so I don't think he was choking then. I wanted to write off Jose's past two bad Septembers to being tired from playing every innning of every game. I don't remember what Beltran did last September.
  21. Whew I thought I lost it. Edit: By "it", I meant my hate.
  22. Changed.
  23. They have been hitting at least some peas that get caught. Lastings positioned on the warning track helped him get Beltrans ball. Harris the same on Wright's when there were two on.
  24. How dare you make me laugh CookieMom! I want to hate right now. "It turns out the New York Post ..." lol
