  1. 3 walks followed by a homer. Poor Fat Lou must be tearing his hair out. I'd love it if he didn't walk on the field anymore. It's a tough image to take.

  5. Cancel's gotta be over three bills.
  6. Funny thread. I don't want to hear about injuries though.
  7. Ahhh who are you, Joe Buck? I'm not a superstitious man but I'm grasping at straws here. Dammit keep him off the bases.
  8. Ted Lilly is a nice man.
  9. Let's win the wildcard tomorrow and not worry about Monday.
  10. Milwaukee beats the Cubs 5-1 to eliminate Houston from the wildcard race. 9/269/25 9/239/239/239/219/219/179/179/159/13 9/10 9/99/99/89/89/79/69/18/31

  13. I didn't even think of him. I like him and feel bad.

  16. Hey, I'm not mean I just tell it like it is. Except when I'm being mean lol.
  17. ...played in a downpour for over four innings. ...where we come back twice down two runs or more. ...tying the game when a runner should've been thrown out by ten feet twisted around the catcher and dove back to the plate. ...where a 400 pound catcher who didn't have a hit from 2002-2007 had two huge hits, one tying the game. ...where a guy like Ramon Martinez gets a big hit ...where Young David comes back and gets the Mets in the game in the first doing what he couldn't do the night before even though a million idiotic "fans" hate his guts right now Hey how about Carlos Beltran (another perennial All-Star hated by his own fans) getting the game winning hit. GIVE IT UP FOR THIS TEAM. GO METS BABY YEEAAHH. i'm exhausted
  18. I really like them. I'm probably violating a thread police rule but I'm beat right now.
  19. ="KC"]mgim: Could he have been called for going out of the baseline<<< Funny grey area there, except down the first baseline. He squirmed and dove back and made it. I think it's about avoiding a tag and not running out of the way of one but someone here will likely have a better answer. Isn't three feet the rule? I think the rule is that the runner establishes a line as he runs and then can't deviate from that line by more than 3 feet. But that might be dated information.
  20. Houston's tragic number is 1 with the Met win today. They'll survive the night since they lead Cincy 7-1, but chasing two teams they probably don't stand a chance. Other than that we're down to the NL East/Wildcard threesome and the Pale Hose and Carlos Gomez's team.
