Good points CF, FK, and Edgy. These are the things the "BRING HIM UP NOW crowd" chooses to ignore because they want the guy they hate replaced immediately by the guy they've read about in Peter Gammons' blog all winter. Or sometimes the BRING HIM UP NOW crowd is just a bunch of morons, who don't think about anything.

I kinda wanted Piazza to win just because he's my buddy and he won't be getting put on the team by the manager. LoDuca woulda got put on anyway and I don't care if some other shlub doesn't get a spot because the fans voted for Piazza.

Trying to remember how often does a starter get voted in who is unable to play as may be the case with Pujols this year? I'm pretty sure that the manager just names a replacement starter and that they don't go to the next name on the list from fan-voting. But I'm not positive. Am I right?

That +923 is about as close as I've ever seen. Wright beating Rolen is a surprise to me. I figured Rolen was still the name brand that peeps would go with.
