  2. WHAT THE FUCK ITS ONLY TWO TO ONE LETS FUCKING GO
  3. Does anyone know why Ethier is screaming at Mattingly?
  4. How does Turner not get punched in the face fifty times a day.
  5. Before this series I really had no idea that Ripken was such an idiot.

  8. Zvon wrote: Wowzers! A bloop and a blast. Ugh, I know they get to do their little bat tossing displays, but I would have to drill him next time up, big time. You see that stare!???Not to mention the bat toss. Crowds throwing shit on the field!!! Hit the next guy so he'll tell his teammate not to do that shit anymore.
  9. I thought the Mets series was nuts.
  10. I'm scared cooby
  11. Terry on deGrom: we told him not to take his bullpen session in case we needed a bridge with the lead. When it got to the sixth or so and we were behind we told him to go out and take his pitches. My apologies Terry.
  12. Throwing the word warm in there is what makes you Fman. Beautiful and elegant

  15. Back to the future
  16. Murph stepping out and slowing shit down and telling the catcher what the deal is. I like Murph can we keep him?
  17. 82 pitches. Donnie dickhead might not take him out.
  18. Lefty Specialist wrote: Hafta wonder what Bartolo would have given you as the #4 starter. Guess we'll never know. I liked the idea of Matz starting at home and using Bart out of the pen. Maybe it was wrong. Matz only had the one bad inning.
  19. Let's just score nine runs now and not worry about it. Please?
  20. Cross posted. I missed him warming up in the top of the fifth.

Do you think if he pitches tonight he'll be able to go on Thursday? For a couple of batters, yes. What I suspect was that deGrom was Terry's guy if we needed to get out of that last inning unscathed. But now that the reliever is in to start the inning it's Bartolo. But he was warming up while the Mets were hitting Did he start warming in the top. Maybe Terry had FK's idea in mind and when they didn't need him in the top of the inning he just finished out his throwing session into the bottom.

I'd much rather see deGrom start that game than Syndergaard. the pitcher is going to throw a bunch of pitches in the bullpen in his throw day anyway he might as well throw them in the game and help the team. Now IF it meant he can't go Thursday I would agree with you, but I don't think 1 inning tonight means that. But first, BARTOLO!!!! You're assmuning that throwing a bullpen session would stress him the same as throwing during a game. That seems like a risky assumption to make.
