TransMonk wrote: ="Elster88"]It's usually also only a few peeps at any one time. Day games oddly enough get the most action. Or maybe it's not so odd. Right on...there are games where I'll be alone for a few innings at night and keep the play by play to keep myself occupied...I'm going only color from now on. Well I wouldn't go that far. Like someone said, all context of the game gets lost that way. Screw it. Everyone just post how you want. Don't listen to me. Or read me.
Omar had no idea Maine was going to be good. He was just a throw-in. Or.....Maine's only had two good starts so far. Or some other pathetic attempt to save my dignity. Actually I am a defender of all things Maine, but I'll admit it was only AFTER I saw him pitch.
]="Elster88"] We don't really need the play by play. That's being recorded in about 8,000 places probably. Not that it really hurts either. Just need some more color commentary for posterity and fun. I disagree. When I miss a game, I like being able to reconstruct it via the IGT. Well sure. But instead of five posts that simply say "Double by Cliff", like you get at other boards, people here add in the color.
SteveJRogers wrote: ="Johnny Dickshot"]Does a rather accurate comparison between an IGT and a urinal dishearten anyone else? Considering other boards IGTs usually do laps around us, it is a bit disheartening Eighty posts saying "Home run" each accompanied by three inch avatars are not something to be jealous of.
