  1. I knew this would be an easy series but thought that either Arrietta would steal one or that they might be able to hit Matz (but not both), so I said an easy Mets in five.

  4. Game 1 is Tuesday so everything is open.
  5. I want a Mets hat with a World Series patch on the side
  6. I've played defense well in the postseason
  7. Strikeouts in a single postseason by a Met 1. 1973 Tom Seaver 35 2. 2000 Al Leiter 31 3. 2015 Jacob deGrom 27
  8. Hammel confirmed by Maddon in the postgame. I guess we already knew that.
  9. Terry in the postgame said the he knew the rules on the ball in the ivy and that there wasn't really anything he or the umps could do. I'm not usually a big fan of managers yelling for no reason, but I like that he made a bit of a stink out there
  10. They've been great, especially Pedro!

  12. Dusty with a good line on the postgame. They're talking about the ivy and how lucky the Cubs got. "I've seen where a ball goes into the ivy and two or three other balls pop out."
  13. Bobby with a fantastic suit on SNY
  14. Elster88 wrote: Why is this locked? Mets in 5. This won't be hard. Did I give the Cubs too much credit? Homers can be hit with one hand in this silly, creeper-covered park and Matz has hardly broken his cherry so maybe they can steal game 4.

  16. David further embarrassing schwarber

  18. I'm more comfortable that he's coming out since the lead is three. I wonder if Terry would've left him in if it was a one run lead. Maybe not because of the shot Soler hit, TC was quick to pull Harvey and Thor when it was getting late and they gave up homers.
  19. That's exactly 100 pitches
  20. When would you take deGrom out?
  21. Frayed Knot wrote: Was that ruled a 'E' out in LF? If so we still have no hits w/RiSP in this game. Run #1 - Wright on 1st when Cespedes 2B'd #2 Solo HR #3: K/wild pitch #4: Error in LF #5: ground out Looks like they're calling it a hit so far.
  22. Wright heating up and Cespedes hitting shots again. Be afraid.
  23. David Murphy, Great Baserunner
