Carlos Guillen crushes a 3 run homer to left. That pitch was left out over the plate by Perez, who had 2 strikes on Guillen. Pudge follows with a double but Perez gets out of that. Perez has made some good pitches but seems he's not concentrating at 100% capacity. Tigers-3 Mets -1

AWWWWW MAN. Sheffs crazy swing almost chops Castros arm off. He was shaken up a lil, but ok. There oughta be a rule against a batter hitting a catcher with the bat if that catcher is on the Mets.

Beltraan singles, steals 2nd, throw to 2nd hits off him and becomes a gapper into left center, and he ends up scoring! Nice

Catastophic. I havent seen a Met outfielder go airborn on a throw like that since good 'ol Rusty Staub roamed right field. Of course,....he usually hit his mark.
