  1. Wrights smash thru Utley, 1st called a hit, changed to an error. And Kendrick walks Delgado and Church. Bases all juiced up for Easley.
  2. Wright hits it thru Utley and Reyes dashes in from 2nd. 1-0

I'm sorta new to the CPF so I don't know what the general mood is here concerning those unis - but I'll go on the record and write that to me, the black Mets shirts are an absolute embarrasment . I never imagined that a team's uniforms could diminish my ability to enjoy a game but yeah, that's what those hideous shirts do for me. lol. You have supporters here. Id like to know where my fav pinstriped blue hat look has gone. Reyes works a walk and Pagan, batting 2nd tonight, hits one back to Kendrick, who flubs it but makes the play for the out at 1st. Wright up, reyes at 2nd.
  4. Nice start by Pelfrey as he Ks Victorino to start it off. Phils will be without the services of Jimmy Rollins who hurt his ankle sliding back into second yesterday on a pickoff attempt. J-Roll says he does not have 100% lateral movement. 1-2-3 inning for Pelfrey. Nice.
  5. Perez: 3.5 Delgado: 1 Smith: .5 Beltran: .5 Munez: .5 Note: Ill only be scoring the games I can watch.

Hence, the word 'rally' is used in his graphical cameo appearance. I see no rally here. Game OVEH Ahh your father was a hamster and your mother wears combat boots! I don't know about your mother but my mother smelt of elderberries.

  8. Gordon in to close, and from what Ive seen of him so far this season he sucks. So he promptly K's lead off batter Schneider . ugh.
  9. Left ankle strain for J-Roll. Day to day.
  10. Church dribbles one to second. Even a simple single there and I would have worshiped in his pew. ____________(I dont know what I mean by that^)
  11. Delagado grounded into the shift, Utley tosses him out, Beltran moves up to third. Clark works a walk. Church can tie this game with one swing of the bat.
  12. whoa--2nd pitch to Delgado is LOW, but called a strike. Maybe low AND outside. Now its a full count. Come on CarlosD....
  13. Beltran with his 7th lead leading double.
  14. metirish wrote: ="smg58"]Is Feliciano OK? This is two innings in a row where he should have been brought in. We need to know the answer to this , damn. yes, but so far its unforthcoming. The Phils guys haven't touched on it. Gah! Wright tries to hold up on a high fastball. He don't. He's rung up.

  16. Rollins limped in from 2nd....he hurt himself on one of those throws to second Aaron didn't make. Heilman bluffed a throw back to 2nd afew times before the Utley hit. Rollins is leaving the dugout with the trainer.
  17. That damn Utley lines a double over Churches head in right, and now my head hurts too.
  18. HahnSolo wrote: ="Zvon"]4-2. Rollins hits an RBI single to right, a one hopper under Delgado's outstretched glove. I'm following on gametracker. Do I read this as "Delgado should have had it"? Well,...I thought so but it would have been a helluva play. It was reachable. Was not routine.
  19. 4-2. Rollins hits an RBI single to right, a one hopper under Delgado's outstretched glove.
  20. ="Number 6"]="Zvon"]Is your handle a nod to "The Prisoner"? Yup. I like.
  21. UGHHHHH. Reyes singles and I REALLY thought Easley hit one out. Looked like he got all of it and the crowd thought so too, from the sound of it. But it falls short on the track in left. Daym.
  22. Number 6 wrote: Schoeneweis pitching in a high leverage situation to 3 consecutive right-handers is something I hope I don't see much this season. Is your handle a nod to "The Prisoner"?
  23. SteveJRogers wrote: Yup new season, same Mets. How soon before "Willie Must Go!" chants start at Shea? I think Edgy should create a new section. Call it "GET DOWN WITH STEVE".
  24. Ugh, Werth with a single to right off a good pitch. He went out and got it and just poked it to right. Phils take the lead.
  25. Burrell has had a hot opening this season, with 3 homers and 9 RBI, but the Mets have kept him in check thus far. Sosa gets him to hit a deep fly to right and runner on 2nd tags up.
