Whats that home plate umps problem? Why did he go out to the mound so fast during that meeting? Shit. Pelfrey hits Infante with the bases loaded. Followed by a BIG DP! YAY!

Take til they call a strike. 2-0 on a bases loaded walk.

Could break it open in the 1st as this rook pitcher is wavering.

This is another one that got away. Really should have scored more runs. Booth said the Mets have blown 27 saves this season. 27. That is a ridiculous number. Even if we won only 1/3 of those we'd be cruisin'. I have no illusions. I'd like the Mets to make the post season. I'd like that real bad. But even if they do going deep into it would be a miracle. Not without a real closer and this erratic bullpen.

Gotta work that pitcher Beltran. Booth says Braves closer didnt sleep a wink last night. Beltran pops out. Church won't bat.

lead off singles by Wright and Delgado brings Beltran up with 2 on, no out.

Well, we got the big guns up. A comeback here would be HUGE. This team has to be able to do this kinda stuff.

I guess Manuel has forgotten all about that hand the ball off to the next pitcher stuff as Feliciano can't get off the mound fast enough.

Greg Norton. Who the frak is Norton?
  11. Zvon
    un frakin believable

Two lead off singles in the ninth. (can that be? Ok, back to back singles to lead off the 9th) Come on Ayala, shut the door.

="Rockin' Doc"]Why would Manuel pinch hit Endy for Murphy here? I just don't agree with that move. Prove me wromng Endy! Endy came in to play left last inning. They showed this shot of him there in left and his glove looked as big as that glove outside the outfield wall in San Fran. Its Ayala for the save! Phils game over. They win 7-3.

Phils break out for 4 runs in the 8th. Victorino homer the big shot. 7-3 there.

Show handles Chipper but that was sandwiched between two singles by Prado and McCann. Smith takes over.

    That homeplate ump sucks.

Nice 7th inning from Perez. I'd really like to see more runs from the Mets offense.

Ryan Howard just tied it with a cheap opposite field pop up 2 run homer in Philly.

Oh, todays the big day? GRATZ EDGY!

No way was that strike 3 on Mr Wright. WhatRyaTryinToDo2meUMP?
  22. Zvon
Phils scored one in that inning but Cameron just now absolutely crushed one to make it 3-1 Brewcrew. Heads up running by Perez plates the Mets 4th run on a blotched DP. 4-2 and a pitching change for Atlanta.
  23. Zvon
Phils are threatening in the 4th. 1st and 3rd, no out there.
  24. Zvon
How come Ollie isn't doing that little rocking thing going into the windup anymore?
  25. Zvon
I missed Wrights 2nd homer when it happened. Just saw it. Man, that was a shot.
