I hate the super high outfield walls but that time I'm glad they were that high. Uggla almost hits one out, gets a lead off double. Woot! Maine gets out of it. 0-0 after 1 and a half.

Whatever happened to Kyle Kendrick? I mean, I know he's been down on their farm.... Why did he never return to the team? Didn't he win 10 games a few years ago as a replacement starter?

This is great news to me. Myers was a major proponant of the Phils starting rotation. I feel for ya Brett (actually, nah, I don't) but it's nice to see the champs hurtin for a change. They will be shopping for a starter. Omar, whoever they end up focused on, go and snatch em up. It's not like we couldn't use another starter too. Redding don't seem to be makin the grade.

I'm sure heads will explode by my saying this, but the Mets will never be able to even out the subway series if both teams do not appear in the World Series together again. Not saying I root for the Yankees in any way shape or form (unless they are playing teams that effect the Mets standings). Someday, though, I'd like to see that rematch.

Great camera work shows that it would have been very close at the plate if that ball isn't cut off. Too close.

Shit. Green can't handle Green. Expected to see a play at the plate there. Murph cuts it off and this does bring the inning to a close. But not before Boston reclaims the lead. 6-5 Them

How could you not be rooting for the Skanks to trample the Phils here? I don't understand this. The Met's need to hang close and they are hurtin. I don't give a rats ass what the Skankees (or any A.L. team) do generally but in this series I want them to pwn Philly. Especially since we are playin Boston, a very good team. I have the Phils game on here. Brett Myers is throwing well through four. Has good stuff.
