  1. lol. At least he didn't walk him. Lee clears the bases with a granny.
  2. If he walks Lee I'm turning this off.
  3. Dicky done after allowing back to back singles to start off the 7th. Can Feliciano get out of this? Pedro does his job and gets two out Bases now all Braved up. It's all on Acosta. on edit:oh, btw, tied 2-2
  4. It would be typical for the Mets get back a run and load the bases here in the 9th and then not score. This would happen because it would be the most painful way for it to go. Wright Ks to start the inning so maybe they will put me out of my misery nice and quick.
  5. Thanks for not holding em Parnell. Sheeze, why do I even watch?
  6. Aw, fuckshit.
  7. HERNANDEZ! WOW, that was the most interesting homer of the year. Now I'm guessing Hernandez is out for the rest of the season with a fractured foot.
  8. Oy. Why did I even say anything ><
  9. I'd love to see the Braves strand a guy on 3rd after getting a guy there with no out. Other teams do this too, right?
  10. Jose ties it!
  11. With one out Duda does da double ding, Thole singles him to third, and there he strands as Hernandez and Gee wiff to end the inning. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  12. Gee gives up a first inning run Lee singles, McLouth doubles him in.
  13. Wrong Tim. Pagan would not have been out if Hudson hit him in the back. Of course it's certainly possible the ump would have blown that call if it did. Jerry must love Angel and his bunting ability. Drive him in David.
  14. Get those books out and put it in em. That's 3 in a row. That's something We spank the Pirates tomorrow and then mess up the Braves season. Knockin the Braves back 3 would be very satisfying at this point of this not so satisfying season.
  15. The word comeback is so strange to me. But yea, much help from the Pirates. I'll take it.
  16. Enjoyed this and it got me looking at old Forbes Field. I love looking at old stadiums. The left field line was 365' from home plate. To hit a home run down the line, the batter had to clear a high scoreboard (think Fenway Park). The scoreboard extended almost to left field power alley, where the home run distance was 406 feet. Hitting home runs there was a definite challenge. Center Field was 457 feet, so far that the batting practice screen was stored there during games because they felt it was so far away that it wouldn't interfere with balls hit during games. The right field foul line was about 300 feet, but there was a high screen in front of the pavillion that extended to right center. A much more reachable home run target.
  17. 19 shutouts, 16 at home? That's wacky stuff.
  18. Whew, that was in the nick of time. I was falling asleep from boredom.
  19. Of course Oswalt gets a complete game vs us. Gah.
