JCL said it weeks ago. Too many strikeouts. This "take/see more pitches" strategy. We're good at it. It's not working as intended. They should do this only with certain players. Last years team struck out ALOT. I don't like this trend.
Speaking of fools, Ankiel could have made the Mets look like geniuses, if he made that catch and got a hit here or there. Instead, in front of a St Loo, crowd he makes us look like fools. Nice catch there tho.

Jeter would have been magically covering the plate there with his clutchy-ness I was gonna say something like this and then I thought better of it, as you should also have done. That ball hit off Rices foot and nobody gave a shat. And Holliday muscles one out off old man Atchy. 6-3 Dedbirds

Not really throw in mid air, but he'd throw his body behind it and fly/tumble forward after release. I thought that the extra effort was pretty kool and even did it a few times playing softball.

2-0 Cards, now in the 2nd. The way this Lynn guy is pitching for ST Loo, we gotta be rockin his world. Can't hit balls tho, and that's all hes throwing.

Would you have thought that, 13 years after his infamous meltdown in the NLCS, that: A) He would still be a major league ballplayer? He would be an outfielder with decent power? C) He would be putting on a Mets uniform? It's simply Amazin'. Agreed.
I think the only way Duda gets moved to first is if we move Ike and then Duda plays first all the time. I'm not saying I want that. No way. I know that I don't want Duda being bounced around position wise mid season. Ike is our first baseman until he isn't. If we send him down for a spell, plenty of players can fill that spot as opposed to unsettling Duds again.
