Gee being both good and efficient, trying to give a big Fuck You to those who voted against him in our poll here (and don't think he doesn't know about it) Nothing personal with the poll Mr Gee. If you're a five inning pitcher we can use you better in the pen. Don't be a five inning pitcher. Quick, read that before you have to take the mound again.
  2. Lovin these Mex-Ronnie memories.
  3. Niese looks even more like a bird when he eats.

  7. If I was Recker I'd have gone just to see if Cano could still have looked cool while gunning me out.

In around the 8th he realized he didn't do enough to save himself and started to worry about how he was gonna break the news to his mom about being demoted. In the 9th he saw his out and will call his mom tomorrow and tell her he didn't get demoted. He got injured. meeeeeh, 65% serious post. BTW, I changed the facts to protect the actual reason Mr T is immature at times. No idea what really goes thru his head. But the end result is the same.

  12. ha. I don't even have to think about my #1 fav of his. I recorded a version of me doing this song a long time ago, using two cassette players to get a double track effect. It's really awful and embarrassing but I still might share it with you guys here. 1. Think About Your Troubles (from The Point) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

  14. I have a CD collection that a childhood friend from NYC sent me some time ago, and I think its everything he ever did. That's not on the drive atm but this stuff is. I wanted to name my fav Harry song, but I would be very hard pressed to do that. I couldn't do it. I love too much of his stuff. I'm going to listen to Harry this week and return here with my top ten favorite HarryTunes.
  15. OE:you would think Id know how to do this shit by now, lol.
  16. Harry Nilsson. RIP. I've been a big fan ever since "The Point". I still have not been able to find a stereo recording of that theme. I have tried real hard over the years. I don't think one exists. http://www.amazon.com/Televisions-Greatest-Hits-Vol-From/dp/B000000GOL Got that, just for the theme. Its not in stereo ( and a pretty bad quality, IIRC). Pretty sure I still have all of my Harrys stuff on the drive. I'll look see. I watched and was a fan of My Favorite Martian (was that right before Ed Sullivan? Or After?) and Courtship. Didn't get into The Magician and The Hulk, tho I saw quite a few eps of both cuz one of my younger brothers was way into those shows. OE: The theme off that CD is not horrible bad quality. Very compressed (the orig, not the mp3 copy) but much cleaner/clearer than I remembered. I bet he went into the studio and knocked that out in a half hour.

  18. I must have been on hiatus. I do recall some time ago sharing a song Harry wrote and I performed called Little Cowboy, here at the CPF. I recorded this for my son when he was a baby. I don't think I can link it w/o linking all my music stuff at ReverbNation. I don't have a great voice. I can hold a tune. But Harry, in his prime he had a singing voice to die for. Even after he blew out his chords he could sing way better than most. Harry used to make appearances at Beatlefests (after we lost John) in support of gun control. OE: so the poll: is this like a rating? 5 is best? OEOE: OH, I never look in this section. Afraid of spoilers.
  19. Just do it!
  20. Swan Swan H wrote: Look for a song called 'Girlfriend,' which is more or less a rewrite. I have almost all his recordings. I'm aware of Girlfriend and how the theme was based on that. Not sure if that was from an old album or the anthology. Don't get me started on Harry. I won't shut up.

  23. Okay Eddie, today we can either play baseball or try and look under Mrs. Livingstones dress again.
