Its games like this that make me wonder why I take the Mets serious. You get a pitching performance like that in the second game of a big double header against a division rival and you can't support the pitcher with runs. They have been scoring more lately, but obviously, not enough. This one knocked a bit of wind out of my sails.
Matt takes the mound in the 8th. Keep everything in order Mattman. And then SCORE SOME RUNS METS! Make believe he's Wheeler or something. Get Harvey a win! If Harvey shits the bed this half this message will self destruct.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lagares going for the fences now that he got the gig? He hit another to deep center. Don't be changing to try and please us Laggy. Just do what you do, and do it well. Wright strands two with a foul out to end the Mets 7th.

Murphy got the force and he had plenty of time. The throw hits the runner as hes coming up the first baseline and the ball deflects into fair territory. I thought that was gonna keep the run from scoring but it didn't.
Holy shit, what a great play by Turnip and Muffy throws it away, no DP, Nats tie it. Damn, that DP would have been just as good as the one thats the current top play on ESPNs top plays.
