  1. Its games like this that make me wonder why I take the Mets serious. You get a pitching performance like that in the second game of a big double header against a division rival and you can't support the pitcher with runs. They have been scoring more lately, but obviously, not enough. This one knocked a bit of wind out of my sails.
  2. *hangs head
  3. Murphy flies out to center. Gah. Did Gary say that this would be Matts 11th no decision? Did I hear that right?
  4. Ike walks, Lagares pops out foul to 1st. Damn. Well, couldnt ask for more than having Murphy up here. 2 out, two on.
  5. Wild pitch, Brown to 3rd. 1 out.
  6. Brown joins the double club! And that was close. DO IT IKE!
  7. That is probably it for Harvey. Due to bat this inning. 99 pitches. If we are going to score some more runs lets start now.
  8. Hey hey they're the Monkees
  9. Hairy Harper to pinch hit.
  10. Matt takes the mound in the 8th. Keep everything in order Mattman. And then SCORE SOME RUNS METS! Make believe he's Wheeler or something. Get Harvey a win! If Harvey shits the bed this half this message will self destruct.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  12. Ha! Zimmerman unsucks! Thats a first. Off Scorer takes back one of his errors.
  13. Q tells Murph "Ill make the throw myself, tyvm" and Matt gets a nice DP. Harvey at 84 pitches. O'dorf 114. Stammen up in the Nats pen.
  14. Lagares going for the fences now that he got the gig? He hit another to deep center. Don't be changing to try and please us Laggy. Just do what you do, and do it well. Wright strands two with a foul out to end the Mets 7th.
  15. Thank you LaRoche. He fields a bunt by Harvey I'm pretty damn sure was gonna go foul, and Browns in scoring position. 1 out. Lagares.
  16. Ha! Zimmerman sucks. He sucked earlier but I let him slide.

  18. Murphy got the force and he had plenty of time. The throw hits the runner as hes coming up the first baseline and the ball deflects into fair territory. I thought that was gonna keep the run from scoring but it didn't.

  20. Holy shit, what a great play by Turnip and Muffy throws it away, no DP, Nats tie it. Damn, that DP would have been just as good as the one thats the current top play on ESPNs top plays.
  21. Harvey gives up a broken bat bloop single to Werth then walks Desmond. No out.
  22. Lagares hits one 400 feet but it finds a glove up the outfield wall. Wasn't gonna clear it. Nice catch, Span.
  23. Buck drives in Satin with his own double to the left field wall. Keep it goin. Everybody doubles today!
  24. Satin drives one off the outfield wall and soft shoes it to second for a 1 out double.
  25. He better not be. Harveys last pitch that inning (Ks Span) clocked at 98. And it looked faster than that.
