  1. Blackmon dives like a white man jumping into a pool. Ralph looks like a young Leslie Nielson.^

  3. Hey. Real baseball. That was a sac fly for Recker. 2-1 Mets.
  4. Ugh, nice play. Gets it done tho.

  6. I'll take Ikes little pokey hits. He's a lefty Satin!
  7. See, the sideburns. On these 60s-70s cards the sideburns can always help narrow down the year(s). As a matter of fact those sideburns on Yogi do not say 1966 to me. I'd have to look and compare but I'm thinkin '68.
  8. Ha! LeMahieu sucks. And spelling his name sucks more.
  9. The 86 Topps will take a few. Theres a wow factor and a gag factor. I have to overcome the gag factor to make that border 87 Topps will be no problem.
  10. Third-place Mets go for the sweep, 12:10 PM. HA! Phils suck.
  11. ________________ Name that game: May 30, 1970 Mets 4, Astros 3 OE:same game as the Agee card, it looks like. OEE: I'll bet thats Jimmy Wynn stealing second.(he and Joe Morgan stole bases that game.)

  13. Edgy MD wrote: He didn't look hurt or phased. It was as impressive to me as his performance. His control certainly seemed compromised on that last batter, though. But he was standing. I dunno, I re-watched that play and its really amazin he wasn't hurt worse. Watched the pitching side of the innings I missed and man, Harvey was simply excellent. Effortlessly. Aside from a no-no you couldnt ask for more from a pitcher. He pitched like an artist.

What happened? 2-out/2-strikes and on pitch #100, Rockie batter lined a shot off Harvey's leg (looked to be just above the knee) and the ball bounded on a fly out to short RCF for a single. Stayed in after a quick visit and one practice pitch and got a pop out three pitches later for the final out of the game. Oh. I thought it was right on the knee cap. Nevermind.

  17. Flores 2 Buck 1 Quintanilla 1 Harvey 6
  18. That hit him right in the fuckin kneecap. I'd still be screamin. Excellent performance. Great and smart pitching by the looks of it.
  19. UGH. That looked horrible. How is he standing?
  20. That was a meatball Buck! 5-0 Harvey
