I'd guess if Topps did a set it would be like the season highlights design in the 1987 base. I will get to 86, and 73, 1999,2000,2006. The thing that got me started was turning the 70 Topps post season cards from black & white into color. I will complete that eventually and move up the post season history of the Mets through cards as well as other random Met fantasy cards. Colorizing and card backs are slowing me down but I will keep that blog up and try and add a few cards a week. I have not even begun to post the 70 post season fantasy cards there yet. Right now I'm looking for pictures of Bud Harrelson (gm 1 triple) and Ron Taylor (need both in road uniforms) in hopes of adding two additional cards to the playoff set.

I think the only reason he will play somewhere else is because some team will offer him two yrs and the Mets won't. They should consider it. He plays hard and is in as good or better shape than anyone on this team.
  3. Mah man Tommie Lee Agee smacked 26 in '69 and 24 in '70.
  4. Atchison gets the 9th with the Mets up 6-1. This looks like it was a good game all around for the Mets. Might have to replay this and check out the early innings. Atchy wraps it! Very nice play by Flores ends it.
  5. KaBYRD with his 20th!
  6. 4-0 in the . Brown,Young,Q and Murph with RBIS. Looks like this game is under control. Gee looking good.
  7. I had no idea this was a 2pm start. Just saw the replay of Lagares's catch. Very nice.
  8. Turner 1 Byrd 2 Quintanilla 1 Brown 2 Harvey 3 Rice 1
  9. Young 2.4 Murphy 0.7 Davis 1 Lagares 1 Feliciano 0.6
  10. Almost done the playoff cards. The card backs will look something like that.^ Scrapped the first Seaver for an action shot I photoshopped. I'll display the cards on this blog I whipped up. http://metsfantasycards.blogspot.com/ Grimm or anyone else who makes cards and wants to display them on the Met fantasy card blog thing are welcome to. And now we return to our regularly scheduled baseball cards.
  11. Its quarter past midnight and the Yankee/Boston game is still on. Ha.
  12. That was odd. Is Flores possibly a little short in the brain department? lil bit?
  13. Damn. 12th no decision for Harvey?

  15. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Brown gets it done! 3-2 Harvey!
  16. Qs 7th inning 2 out double leads to Harveys hook. Knock him in Brown!
  17. Tuning in to a 2-2 tie in the 6th. Harvey has 5 Ks towards the discount. Five hits for the Pads.
  18. Well that really d'sucked'. I was getting a little excited about Mejia, lil bit, and this elbow business is more than a lil bit of a bummer. Hopefully just a temporary setback.
  19. Fuckin Gyorko
  20. LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr wrote: Little bit. But I'd feel a little worse if I were named "Bentley" or something. I'm still kinda speechless about the choice of Bentley. lil bit. d's dad looks a little like Newt.
  21. Those who made fun of Jaff should feel kinda crappy right about now. lil bit.
  22. Wow. Youngs a crazy man.
