  1. I won't be missing what EYj brings if Lags ends up on second first inning of every game. 1-0 Mets on WP.
  2. Lagares: 2.7 CYoung: 2.5 Granderson: .4 d'Arnaud: 2 Abreu: .4 Familia: .1 Germen: 1.3 Valverde: .3
  3. That list is a great piece a work. Thanks.
  4. Great vid. I read very recently that the catch Jones made in this vid was in a game against the SF Giants, and Willie McCovey hit it. It read that Gil Hodges had his McCovey shift in place, four outfielders. I've seen clips of the catch before, but they never showed the opposing team. So it actually was vs. the Cubs? And is that Ron Santo batting?

( I read in an article yesterday that using HA instead of LOL is wrong because HA supposed to mean it's not as funny as LOL - I don't agree with this. I use HA for the funnier stuff) batmagadanleadoff wrote: This is what happens when you immerse yourself in early '70's Mets team pictures. This is true, but in the Butterball thread I named him as Leo Foster, so I still have a bit to learn.

  7. The text says 2005 but the banner says 2003. Which is it?
  8. If they want to know what kind of a fan I am all they have to do is google "Zvon Mets". And as loyal as I am to the team, that does not make me loyal to the owners. Ever since Fred's crack about Wright not being up to snuff with other all-star caliber players, they have gotten the minimal amount of $$ support from me. And I will continue my own personal stand until the owners make me feel otherwise (I am more than willing to forgive). If everyone did this for an extended period of time I imagine they would have to sell the team. I personally don't demand for them to sell. I don't hate them because I really don't know them. I just want them to be better owners. And time is telling me they may never be.

An email response to all the backfire would be LOADS of fun!!! I feel for that guy. That's a tuff gig these days. Almost a no-win situation. It would have had to be perfect to cover all current Mets fans. Can anyone here come up with what would have been the perfect message?

  12. Thanks guys. I'm hoping to get the new members into the voting thing and a lil clarification of what we do here can't hurt. I know when I first got here I was a little reticent about joining in until Ben told me that if we make the post season all voters will be shipped a case of Schaefer. (lets see if that works)
  13. Murphy: 1.5 C. Young: 1 Granderson: .4 Satin: 1 Tejeda: 1.5 Niese: 4 Matsuzaka: .3 Valverde: .3
  14. Mets win 6-1. Lets do it again tomorrow.
  15. How do you not catch that Mr Young? Phils give him another chance.
  16. We answer right back. Winning teams do that.
  17. A close play, like that one at 1st.
  18. Now if the Phils wanted to delay the game in hopes of rain could Rhino just pick a random play and challenge it?
  19. Figures.
  20. Cole walks Niese with bases loaded! 3-0 Okay, lets just step it up and make this game official.
  21. Huge Satin. 3-2 ripped RBI single. 2-0 NY

  23. They just corrected themselves. Excellent.

  25. That wasn't a real steal. gah! Murphys SB string broken.
