    This is just horrible. I guess we all figured someday it would happen, but it doesn't make it any less awful. A female fan in the 2nd row at the game in Boston was hit with a shard of broken bat. Don't look at the pictures or video unless you want to be upset. She was attending the game with a young child, who I feel equally for, because he looked to be very young. A police officer was carrying the boy as they stretchered the woman across the field at high speed to the right field exit of the stadium. The video was upsetting because you could clearly hear to poor fan screaming in pain.
