  1. That was perfect because the last thing I wanted to see was Colon busting it on the basepaths. Btw, nice piece of hitting by the rotund righty.
  2. GrAnDyOUTTATHERE!!!!!! 3-0 Mets
  3. Fans should get errors on plays like that. ComeOOONN!
  4. ConfortoBOOM!
  5. I am forcrd to sit through the Phils booth. Tonight they're lacking the Canadian noodle head guy, Matt Stairs, so this could be worse. I've never been a fighter or a bully, but everytime I hear his voice I wanna beat him up. 0-0 Mets coming to bat in the 5th. Mets only have one hit. ComeOONNN!
  6. At least it's going fast. because nothing is happening. I was out listening on the radio and Murphy popped out, then when I got back to the TV they (Comcast Sports Net Central) still were 4 pitches behind the Muff pop out. That's ridiculous. That's not "live" TV. 0-0 Mets after 4.
  7. Gah! Back in my day umpires knew which bases they were responsible for!
  8. It's ugly camo night. Colon, who is wearing two normal sized camo jerseys stitched together, I'm guessing, starts the game with 2 Ks on 6 pitches and gets the Phils in order. 0-0 Mets Phils booth making fun of Colons cap. What a bunch a dicks.

  10. Too soon for Fkn Frddy Freemn I would think. Martin Prado.
  11. He struck out the side in the 9th! Niiiiice. 6th no hitter this season.
  12. Cubs Jake Arrieta needs one more strike for a no-no. He faces Chase Utley of the Dodgers.

Bad job by the Mets for having 35,000 guests over to their place and showing them all yesterday's lineup at the entrance (Pail loves to see this). Make this someone's job. If not don't put it up. WTF. We noticed the same thing two weeks ago. As you said, WTF? They can't get someone to put up the proper lineup cards on Sunday mornings? How hard could that be? Where do I apply for this job??
  14. If she's really keeping score I'm in love. ?
  15. Murphy: 1 Cuddyer: 2 Uribe: 2 Recker: .5 Conforto: .5 Syndergaard: 2 Clippard: 1 Familia: 1
  16. Great game. That pop up was wacky stuff. I've seen spins on balls. Hooking drives and whatnot. Balls hit off the end of the bat, like that one. If that really did travel from a few rows into the stands to where it landed, like it was described on TV, that's the wickedest spin eveh! Glad we survived that to win and now it's only a footnote. The splitter is also wicked.
  17. Thor strikes with his mighty hammer. 2 out, 2 strike RBI single. I'm a bit surprised there was no throw on Cuddy. NY hit the ball hard the whole inning. 1-0 Mets
  18. Granderson: .5 Cespedes: 1 Murphy: 1 Wright: 1 Johnson: .5 d'Arnaud: 1 Conforto: 1 Verrett: .5 Robles: .5 Gilmartin: .7 Torres: 2 Familia: .3
  19. Nice first for Thor. An infield single to Bogaerts who is stranded. Bookend K's.
  20. Granderson: 1 Johnson: 1 Uribe: 2 deGrom: 2.7 O'Flaherty: 1 Colon: 1
  21. Granderson: .7 Cespedes: .3 Wright: 1 Flores: 1 d'Arnaud: 1.5 Tejada: 1.5 Harvey: 3 Clippard: .5 Familia: .5

I worry that both deGrom and Harvey seem to turn into poop after 100 pitches. The thing is these young pitchers have to tell TC when they are outta gas, or even close. I'm sure they know when they hit that point. Let Terry know. We can't find out that they are outta gas after the 2nd or 3rd HR of the inning. I'm glad that they can be so strong for those 100 pitches. I think from here on out we'll have to take whatever they can give us.
  23. If I can retain how to spell Nieuwenhuis I think I'm ready for this guy. It'll be a Schaefer Challenge.
  24. Uribe got Big Pappy's uniform and that makes it an out! Shudda challenged. Not because I'm sure I'm right, but because they screw up those calls too if you give em a chance.
  25. Lefty Specialist wrote: Harvey goes 7 and this is a whole different game. Just saying. Bingo, boingo, boongo. But I'm not assessing blame. They have a plan, they are sticking to it. Sucks when it burns like that. We aren't going to win 'em all, and the Nats lost. Not a good day at the office but not a bad one either. Is there anything of interest I should look for if I fast forward through this game? Should I even fast forward through this game?
