  1. Man, that place emptied out pretty fast. I like that the people in the cheaper seats are sticking it out. There's your true Mets fans.

"They were renovating Shea," he said. Larry Andersen can eat Honey Smacks out of my asshole. I wouldn't even afford him the extra flavor.

  5. Niiiiice. Cestriplet! Glad I didn't turn the game off ( like I would ever turn a Mets game off. ComeONNN!)

For those who want to crucify TC for using Parnell there I ain't crucifying anyone, tell it to your buddy with the dry razor. lol, sorry. I was reacting to other stuff I was reading thru the wonders of social media. I shouldn't have started that with your quote but it set me thinking. The consensus is that after just inching in the direction of a comeback @ 6-4, this was not the spot to test Parnell. I say, then when would that spot be?

This was the Phils. He should have been able to put up a clean inning. Unfortunately, I think we just witnessed the end of Parnell's career, and that's a shame.
  9. I have already gone on record saying that if we comeback in this one I will streak up and down my street.
  10. Those losers can't even clear the bases on a bases loaded double that should have cleared 'em.

  12. This is the end. My old friend, the end.... Anyone hear Howie talking about Parnell from the heart? Sad to see.
  13. He looked so bad on that bad swing, then was grabbing his back like maybe he hurt his back on the swing, and then he launches one into orbit. The pitch couldn't have been any fatter either. TY Harang. 6-4
  14. WOOHOOOOOCEDPEDESBOOOOOM

I don't think a lefty is really necessary in a starting rotation. 2. Don't forget Steven Matz. 1. Personally, I agree. But someone familiar with the Mets thinking might be thinking otherwise. 2. I will never forget Mr. Matz. But Matz for Niese in the rotation? I'll believe that when I see it. I figure short of an amputation Niese is in. But we do have all of Sept and I could be severely wrong.
  16. I'm not counting my chickens yet, but I got all my ducks in a row.
  17. Ha! Ruff sucks! ComeONNN Niese! 6-0
  18. Nice play by Niese. But he got a little mopey afterwards. Lil' bit.
  19. Well, I do believe we can comeback, but I am very disappointed in Niese. And he's our lefty vet, so he will be in all projected rotations. I expect this is just a blip for Niese, but that remains to be seen.

Gathered round the old boom box for Howie and Kosh. Fire ablaze. Beer aopen. It don't get any better than that.
  21. Phils feed had Gino too but just a few seconds, a clip of him throwing the first pitch. No idea who he is.
  22. Nor that bomb from Ruff. Yooooouch. 5-0
  23. I missed whatever happened here, 1-0 them. I didn't miss that screaming meemee by Frenchy. 2-0
  24. Harang effective in the 1st. OE: I thought I hit send after the first.
  25. I don't think Niese got all mopey on that misplay. Who gets the error? Whoa-line drive DP, 1-6 0-0 Mets
