  1. Whoa, I had to cover my eyes. I'll see them for the first time myself, thanks. Could the color one be like a plate or something? My first thought was these need to be in color, but if they are already out there I won't bother. Far from my fav WS design, even tho I realize they're tied to 1967.
  2. I got 4 packs of Wacky Packages today. And a box of Heritage, which I really didn't want, so that's a sign I'm getting carried away. Lilbit. Wolfy, I could swear I posted this here or on fb but I see no evidence of it. Maybe I PM'd it, haven't checked. RE: the ARCHIVE set. Between my brother and I we only found 11 cards that you needed. This was a while ago. I dunno if it's worth mailing but I will if you still need 'em and want 'em. I haven't bought any more Archives since then- I haven't seen them out there. I have which cards listed on a pad that I can't find atm. Sorry I lost track of this. So the Wacky Packages: First pack, first team card,of course it's going to be the Royals. I wouldn't have it any other way. But then The Cubs, the Braves, and the Yankees. GAH! Second pack, Phillies, NOOOOO! I can't take this! Next card, yeaaaaaaaaa, Mets. Mets N.Y. Deli Meat Mitts. Lunch meat made from old baseball mitts. Haha. I scanned it but showing the card would be a spoiler with these. They are the funniest the first time you see them. I will show the Yankees though. Because fk 'em & this is pretty kool. Heritage: Doing HORRIBLE! 9 packs: 1 Met, Cuddyer, 1 pack left. I did get a World Series card and I almost wish I didn't, because now I'll want all of these. Very kool but very awful quality B&W image used on this one. I have 2 Wacky Packs left. If I get anything worthwhile I will report in later.

  4. Where's the old man! Saw bits and pieces. I saw Conforto's GRdouble and Duda's sac. Didn't get to see much of deGrom & the rest of the pitching. I'll have to replay a few innings. Good game, good weekend.
  5. Ceetar wrote: Mets are gonna end up going like 25-13 or something against the Phillies and Braves and we're going to think it wasn't enough. Only if it ends up that way.
  6. 19-69, .273, 86 runs scored
  7. Good game! Are there any plans to fix the icons for images, quotes & such?
  8. HA! TriBOOM for Laggy. This is batting practice with this guy on the mound.

  10. Hey! Don't be brushing back my captain. I think Teufel would have liked to send him but de Aza was pussyfooting around 3rd. Anyone see that play earlier?: great diving play on a grounder to Wright, he throws to Duda in time, but Duda didn't bother to stretch or have his foot on that bag. Things like that just baffle me.
  11. Finally, David pulls a double. Niiiice. That's what I want to see.
  12. Zvon wrote: Walkers FIRST walk! Nice DP. 4 pitch inning for Mr. Matz.
  13. 1st inning. First batter Granderson singles! Confortos first MLB stolen base! Walkers FIRST walk! Grounder to first GOES THRU FknFrdyFrmn! Yay! Mets score first 2-0.
  14. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Freddy Freeman destroyed. good sign. Yay! I think I'm the expert on this. It's F.F.F. or FknFrdyFrmn. If you're actually spelling out the entire name you are giving him way too much of your time. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: WE WIN!!!!!! YAY!YAY!

  16. Frayed Knot wrote: I didn't see that WP/PB (however they scored it) as d'Arnaud's fault. He was lucky just to get the glove up there without it going straight back to the screen. You may be right. I was a little hot under the collar. I don't even know how it was scored. I'm gonna go re-watch it (kool, they freed up SNY early). I still will stand by my assessment of d'Arnaud, overall, so far this season. I wanted to agree with you but after re-watching, I dunno. Ronnie agrees with you and it was scored a wild pitch. Travis called for an inside pitch so he was a bit surprised and offset, and the ball was continually tailing away from him, but I think he should have caught or stopped that. He did get a glove on it. [fimg=300]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e-toBqu20Rk/VxhbsxvJPHI/AAAAAAAAmpk/r_nA-NFWsKIkxMZX5wY6jtbFJMQse1_KACCo/s800-Ic42/vsphils.png[/fimg]
  17. I hate to say it, but d'Arnaud looks like a boy amongst men. Don't get me wrong. I like him. I want him to excel. But pitches that close can't be allowed to get away. This might be the fourth time this season I've seen him let one go by like that. That won't cut it. blahblah, I was sad.
  18. Ugh. d'Arnaud. Tsk, tsk.
  19. The TV is ahead of the radio by like 15 seconds. Now that's weird. I am getting the radio feed thru the PC tho. I'm sure a real radio would not be suffering such a time lapse. 4-4 Mets. Ugh. great pitch to Conforto. Grandy on 2nd, 2 out. Cespedes at the plate.

Our bats seem to like it. Saw this on fb earlier today. 21. Phils mouthpieces have a major problem with Granderson having his cellphone in the dugout. Grandy took a pic of Duda in the dugout after the HR. Is there really a rule: no cell phones? 4-3 Mets
  22. I gotta pinch myself.
  23. batmagadanleadoff wrote: Neil Walker's hardly living up to his name: he hasn't drawn a base on balls all season long. Wow. I did not know that. 2-2 in the 4th. Colon mixing things up nicely except to that Galvis guy. He threw him a phat one. I did not expect a long ball from Galvis, and neither did Colon. 24. None of the icons above (img/,URL,etc.) work for me today. I rebooted the browser and did everything I can think of. I can manually add an image, which will enable me to contribute to the overall theme. Like so: [fimg=300]http://www.thestoneband.com/assets/images/gears/guitars_4.jpg[/fimg] That is RAWKIN It wouldn't be fair to make fun of this guy without showing you how rawkin he really was. That ^ was Ira in 1972. No, I don't know this guy. Ira in 1969 He's got a nice axe collection. [fimg=300]http://www.thestoneband.com/assets/images/gears/guitars_6.jpg[/fimg]
