  1. Wilmer Flores with a chance for a dramatic finish.
  2. Feck. 9th inning lead for the MFDs.
  3. I'm gonna guess the twins will also have ginger hair.
  4. Game 5 of LA vs SF starts at 9pm despite being the only game of the day? I guess they don't want a national audience.
  5. Pulling for Boston, obviously. It's a treat that they've got this far, so anything else would be gravy.
  6. Listening to the HOU/CWS game on the Chicago radio broadcast. All the ad breaks seem to be for sports betting followed by PSAs for gambling disorders. Depressing.
  7. Giants on the precipice of the NLCS. MLB execs hoping to salvage at least half of their dream Dodgers-Yankees matchup are sweating.
  8. =G-Fafif post_id=79624 time=1634009637 user_id=55] Giants-Red Sox would be the most picturesque ballpark matchup in modern times, maybe anytime.
  9. And a bad hop on a relay to first base ends up dooming the Rays. The Red Sox are the first team to advance to the final four.
  10. Not that it seems to be helping them in the final score, but the Rays have taken away around 10 hits from the Red Sox with great defensive plays in this series.
  11. With the Boston Marathon running today, the Red Sox-Rays game should've started at 10 am.
  12. I was at Fenway tonight, and the was a FUN game to attend.
  13. Perversely, I think a World Series between the Brewers and Astros with the teams representing the wrong leagues would be kind of fun.
  14. =Fman99 post_id=79533 time=1633749092 user_id=86] Braves lost. I approve. More of the same please.
  15. Red Sox hit 4 home runs and now lead 8-5 in the 5th. Definitely not a pitching duel.
  16. The Rays load the bases with a bunch of seeing-eye singles and then Jordan Luplow hits a grand slam. Up 5-2 in the first inning. I guess this won't be a pitching duel.
  17. Lance wins! Also, Lance loses.
  18. Got some Lance v. Lance action in the early ALDS game.
  19. Who will pitch to Alonso in the HR Derby?
  20. I know TV executives and MLB executives don't think this way, but it would make sense if the game with two teams who play in the Eastern Time Zone was the early game and the game with two teams who play in the Central Time Zone was the night game. This would make it easier for the younger fans, and a good share of older fans, of these teams to watch the entire game.
  21. And so the Dodgers and Giants will meet in the postseason for the first time ever (not counting the 1951 tie-breaker series). Will there be a shot heard 'round the world? Will there be a sign-stealing scandal? Will the TBS announcers refer to the 1951 series at least once an inning throughout the NLDS?
  22. I hate the Cardinals and Dodgers with equal fervor, but with the possibility of back-to-back championships for Los Angeles, I'll have to hold my nose and root for St. Louis now and hope they get eliminated in the LDS. And the Cardinals score a first inning run on a wild pitch by Max Scherzer as I write this.
  23. That was a good adjustment to go the other way though.
  24. How many hours until Aaron Boone walks the plank?
  25. The Wall that gave Bucky Dent a home run that wouldn't have gone out in any other ballpark prevented Giancarlo Stanton from hitting what would've been two home runs in any other ballpark. I guess that evens things out in Yankees/Red Sox "tiebreaker" games.
