  1. C'mon young David!
  2. Yes he is in to pitch!
  3. Pity. Wild pitch would be nice.
  4. Wait a tic? Is Looper in the pen?
  5. Runnin' Reyes doubles to lead off. C'mon Mets. Get a run. Get Looper on the mound!
  6. Looper in the pen! We may still have a chance!
  7. Poop ups require a certain amount of skill, but they always end messy.
  8. Fuckin' A. I walk back in the room and they're saying there's a home run for the Cardinals. Then I find out it was just a replay of McGwire #62. Had a near heaht attack!
  9. Is it the European Cup Championship: Arsenal v. Barcelona? Not to spoil it for you but Barcelona won. According to my schedule the Mets game is on SNY. I'm getting the freakin' Cardinals feed of course.
  10. I hate Fox's excessive graphics and sound effects myself.
  11. Pujols 0 for his last 10. What are we to make of this? OPTOMIST: Yay, we caught him during a slump. PESSIMIST: He's due.

Not was, IS GOING to be a Clerks II, coming out sometime this year, don't know the release date yet That would explain why I've never heard of it. Kevin Smith must be desperate. Another answers to the trivia question is Paul Rubens who played Pee Wee Herman in multiple films. Then there's that Ernest guy.
  13. There was a Clerks II?
  14. RealityChuck wrote: For something harder, name at least five actors who reprised roles in films that were not sequels of the first film. Peter O'Toole played King Henry II in Becket and The Lion in Winter. I can't think of any others.
  15. Reminiscent of my friends who worked at Jamestown and what they had to go through after Disney's Pochahantas was released. The most fun was trying to explain where the waterfall was in the completely flat Tidewater Virginia region.
  16. This weeks Dustinland takes on the Yankee fan.
  17. Centerfield wrote: I also thought Angels & Demons crossed the line from "silly little thriller" to "oh come on now, that's just ridiculous" when ****distorted, overexaggerated spoiler ahead*** the main character jumps from a helicopter using his ziploc sandwich bag as a parachute. And after surviving said fall spends less than an hour in the hospital before rushing out to save the world from the evil Pope. Yes that was most absurd.
  18. I'm gonna guess James Dean.
  19. Maybe there should be a +/- rating for baseball like in hockey. How many runs your team scores when you bat in an inning vs. how many they score when you don't come to bat. Also defensive scores, how many runs allowed in innings on the field vs. innings on the bench/dl. Could be interesting to see the cumulative stats, although I'm not sure what useful info they'd provide.
  20. And I can't believe Audrey Tatou sold her soul to be in this movie.
  21. I never read it either but did read the prequel for a book club. Dan Brown can't write for crap. I also know several people who tried to read the Da Vince Code but gave up after about 20 - 30 pages because it was so bad. They are page-turners and have the whole conspiracy theory angle going for them but I still don't see why his books are so popular.
  22. Can the film possibly fully capture all the nuance of Dan Brown's craptastic writing style?
  23. Beltran 0.5 Floyd 1 Franco 1 Glavine 2 Reyes 3.5 Wright 2
