  1. RAD looks lie he could command that knuckler for the next 10 years.
  2. Dickey gets out of Wet Beaver creek alive.
  3. The primary motivation of most Mets may be to stay healthy and secure a 2011 paycheck. Nothing more, nothing less.
  4. Losing is a disease.
  5. Your 2010 Mets, out of toaster and done.
  6. Santana 1 Beltran 1.5 Reyes 0.5
  7. He is better than Joe Morgan.
  8. What is the Percentage of balls fouled off by the batter on a 3-2 count. That has to be way up there.
  9. She looks like an alien.
  10. Tongue in cheek, but Omar may already have been reassigned. So Jerry probably gets to ride the year out and can leave hand in hand with Omar. I do question the commitment of ownership to build a winner and I do hope I am wrong. Fman>>>> tongue in cheek cue

Chad Cordero is off to a solid start, throwing a single scoreless inning in each of his first three appearances. Downside there: four hits, two walks, one strikeout. But he's a ground ball guy, isn't he? (Maybe I just associate the name "Chad" with grounders.) Anyhow, if Cordero joins the Mets, the team's bullpen will have the two pitchers (along with Francisco Rodriguez) to reach their 100th career save at the youngest age. Ironically, both relievers now suck.
  14. Wilpon sued over Madoff loses. Fred may have been a bagman by accident. http://proxy.espn.go.com/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/7681/fred-wilpon-sued-over-madoff-losses

Lost in the deadline deals was the BoSox finally landing their catcher, sending several pieces to snag the mercurial Jason Saltalamacchia. No word whether the Rangers included numerous sew-on lower-case 'a's to go along. I guess 'Salty' gets to compete for the #1 catcher's job next season what with Victor Martinez headed for FA-gency after this year and Jason Varitek to the glue factory, but for now it gives them a third lousy defensive catcher. They also sent reliever Ramon Ramirez - the one rumored to be available for Barajas - to SF for a AA arm. Don't know anything about the guy - Dan Turpen - but his numbers don't look all that exciting and there's a big difference between a minor league reliever and the starting, or even platoon, catcher they supposedly wanted. Simple, their other businesses, real estate, are in the crapper and attention to the Mets is secondary. Omar is not going to fire Jerry. Omar and Manuel can go down on the ship together if the Wilpons can them.

This team has already had TWO 8-game winning streaks and I don't think we've seen the best of what they can do yet Are you going to be like Yankee fans and say "O this team is dominating everything therefore they suck and they're worthy of my scorn!" Are you going to be like THOSE pussies?!?!?! Or are you going to be a fucking METS fan! You're made of stronger stuff. Let your balls drop down in your scrotum and stand proud! LET'S GO METS! These are not the 1969 Mets nor 1951 Giants, and these Mets do suck...but eh fuck! LETS GO METS!
  17. This team sucks. Sell the team to someone who can handle it. Hire a GM who can form it, and Bobby V to manage it. Four years of horseshit it in a row is enough.
  18. I am dissapointed that the Wilpons are distracted to the point where Sterling Mets is secondary.
