This morning the interweb is all a fuss about a Ken Rosenthal article in the Atlantic dated 9/12 that "cryptically" implies there might be a distraction in the Mets clubhouse He brings up Soto Alonso and Lindor but it's like reading tea leaves as to what he is really trying to say My personal guess is if there is anything to this it might be the relationship between Alonso and Soto and maybe Pete's contract situation Soto will be a Met next year, Alonso? Who knows

    The Hot Corner wrote: McLean has thrown 5 innings of shut out ball on 82 pitches. Going by Mendoza's usual usage of starting pitchers, I expect him to come out for the 6th inning and be removed should he allow a base runner. I would hope not but Mendoza is not likely to change his approach
