Golden opportunity for the offense...

That's what I'm talking about!

Still a tie game and very winnable...

Take the series... one series at a time...

I don't see him getting fired by the Mets at all... I've gone with the idea that Sandy might retire after his work with the Mets is done. I wonder if there is a scenario where he takes over for Selig as commish...

Now... if Earl Weaver were still managing...

Dallas Braden retired this off season in what would have been his prime if not for arm woes..

I wasn't aware Ryan Howard had done that much. It means I need to pay attention to him... After Philly I could see him DH'ing so yes it is frightening Tonight unclean Ryan Braun hit three HR's in Philly.. Very quietly Brandon Belt has five already in 2014 for the Giants and might be a longer term threat... I was surprised to see that Alfonso Soriano has 407 HR's.... He plays at MFY3 and at say 30 a year pushes 500... yikes.... We shall see....

Colon 5 Tejada 3 Young 1 d;arnaud 1

I thought maybe he broke his ankle again or something...

This has to be a better Mets team.. Good deeds are being done by many.. You don't have to depend on David Wright all the time...

BOOKS!

2.. cherish the shutout...

Unbelievable...

YESSSSS!

Hang in V

I know its the norm in todays era but why pull Colon after 7 innings?

WTG Terry!

Colon is a cute cherub.. And our ACE!

I doubt it was Sandy's decision regarding Reyes... We really don't know how much leeway he has and have had from Fred & Jeff so I'll give Sandy a B+ to date... I do have a concern that failing to address SS, the Bullpen and a better backup C to back up the kid may hurt from time... Regarding Rubin.. well, we all looked at it anyway... His best value to me is posting pre-game lineups... I believe most Met fans would get a fairer read on the team reading this board than any beat guy..

Almost game time... yeah! I would be really happy to see Colon shut down the Braves on the road.. Throw darts bay-bee...
