  1. It's nice to know that there are other creeps here besides myself.
  2. I'm glad they suck. Especially considering how high the expectations were. Hard to believe the last NL East champion that was not the Phillies was the 2006 Mets.
  3. Watched a few innings on YES but got tired of the brainless chatter. Switched to ESPN, also showing MFYs/Rays. Though I would mostly describe it as a glorified commercial for the Home Run Derby.
  4. I am a dipshit. Bought tickets mistakenly for Saturday August 11th instead of Friday August 10th. Will have to call the Mets ticket office tomorrow to see if they will swap these seats out.
  5. Nice glove work by Nickeas there to get the runner coming home.

I would prefer that the NL was represented at third by somebody with a BMI under 40 who wasn't being investigated for sexual assault. Oh, you said this on Facebook, you dual posting fucking hack! Seriously, without offense to the Kung Fu Panda or any other animated martial arts mammals and/or reptiles, I hope the people who voted for Sandoval all die in a grease fire. Online voting is ridiculous. Bud Selig is a frog faced fish fucking retard.
  7. These ESPN announcers are as brainlessly repetitive as the Fox crew from yesterday. Yes, we get it. The Dodgers haven't led a game in many days. They don't score often. Also, this just in. Clayton Kershaw won the "triple crown" last year. Just. Stop. It. The pitching triple crown is bullshit anyway. I think every time they mention the triple crown and they're talking about a pitcher that Carl Yasztremski dies a little bit inside.
  8. Mets would have been better off with a first basemen who was adept at playing first. Righty, lefty, whatever.
  9. Caught two innings on XM while driving home tonight, with the insufferable Charlie Steiner. Because his team was getting mauled he spent the entire time interviewing someone in their scouting department on some draft pick or free agent signing or something. Useless. Home in time for the last inning and a half on Fox. Man the Dodgers suck.
  10. Nice! Cruddy defense by the Dodgas nets the Metsies two more. And I'm faced and I can sack out now.
  11. Fuck yeah, Duda! 3-0 good guys.
  12. Courtesy of SNY, nice footage of the Jackie Robinson stuff on display in Dodger Stadium. Because, as you may know, this is the team he actually played for. (Rotunda not pictured.)
  13. R.A. looks pissed that anyone should be able to get even a single hit off of him. Good. Stay hungry, Raped Anally Dickey.
  14. Ugh. Big strike zone tonight, as per Murphy's at bat. Swing away, boys.
  15. Encouraging start against Chimp-Face. C'mon, Sugarpants, put another one in the seats.
  16. He's my favorite undead sports personality.
  17. Man, that's a March road game lineup right there. These guys suck/blow.
  18. I'd trade Bay for a bag of balls. Just to ensure that Hairston and Newy and eventually Baxter play more. I guess what I'm sayin' is that I'd release Bay. This is where you miss Bobby V's sharp eye: Bobby V could look a player over and in five minutes, know whether he's done or not and the fuck with the sample sizes. traded for IIRC because Bobby V went to Boston and checked him out at the "hit dog machine" gym...if that was the name of the place I can see why they called him the "Hot Dog Machine." Wait, what?

I did, in fact, go to bed operating under the assumption that the final score would be 1-0 and a no hitter. Except it would be by Chris Young and an army of firemen as he can't throw 135 pitches without falling apart.
  21. I lasted exactly three innings.
  22. Dee Gordon is apparently the son of former MLB pitcher Tom "Flash" Gordon. I had no idear.
