    Are they broadcasting the induction ceremonies? Has Jon Matlack been sitting in a jar on Funk & Wagnall's front porch since noon today?

    Well, you'll see Javy at short for at least a few weeks because it doesn't look like Lindor's coming back anytime soon. I'd expect the playing time losers are Guillorme and Villar. Villar has looked a little logy since he came back from his last injury.

    I'd let this season play out until before extending him. There are a lot of moving parts here.

    Not happy losing Crow-Armstrong for a rental, even if it is Baez. When Lindor comes back I assume he plays second and Squirrel is the odd mammal out. Trevor Williams, you know, sucks. Not the answer to the TBD question.

    YUGE game. The best the Braves can do now is gain one game in the standings, while 4 more days have slipped off the calendar and they'll only have 3 remaining with the Metsies. I watched that throw over and over, too. I thought he was safe when I first saw it, but he was very much out.

    Eh, I guess they did the best they could with what they had to work with. Would have liked Rockers or Rocks, but it sounds too much like the Rockies and if the locals were tired of it, then so be it. It's kind of a clunky name but I guess we'll get used to it.

    Rojas again managing stupidly by pulling Megill with 78 pitches through 6 scoreless innings. This bullpen is suspect and should be used as little as possible.

    I'd take Wainwright in a heartbeat, but I don't think the Cards would do it and I think he'd rather retire than leave St Louis.
