Poor Tigers and Yankees in the 10th inning. I don’t know what the temp is there but it’s about 95 here.

This is a true story. I got CVS brand swabs with my OTC Aetna rewards (which has gone from $150 a quarter to $30 but that’s another story). TWO TIMES in a couple of weeks the cotton came off in my ear too far down for my hubby to get it out even with tweezers. Both times I had to pay over $100 to have a doctor remove it because Aetna considered it a surgical procedure. The doctor finally told me to get the good swabs. ‘Just go to Walmart and get the good swabs’

I think it was the oh so fair (as in Pretty Bobby Shaftoe) Washington pitching coach that I took an immediate dislike to when I saw him a few weeks ago

While I appreciate the various gestures I think it’s time to stop having uniforms as posters for breast cancer, vets awareness, pride nights, mothers/Father’s Day, etc etc That stuff is all good but making a person wear gear to spread awareness of something we’re already aware of is annoying just my two cents. Players have personal thoughts too and probably would rather keep them to themselves
