  7. She was eight? I'm impressed! Knowing now that the AIDS announcement was mistimed does seem forced. Plus at the time AIDS was still very much a scary mystery so them all hugging when they weren't sure it was safe....(though I really hope that's what happened) Still I liked the movie a lot and thought it well done. Very good performances by actors who are too young to remember I am WAY to much of a fan of Eltons to go see Rocketman. I'd be picking that apart Lolol
  8. Me and you, 62
  9. Okay so if you discount all that errorship, can you agree the performances were good? Plus did you really know all that stuff when you walked into the theatre?
  10. All good to know! I did notice the Keep Yourself Alive part
  11. That's sad to know...what wasn't accurate? Most of what I read about him after watching it seemed to match up except Jim was not a waiter but a hairdresser Also the band actors looked astonishingly like the real guys to me
  12. Watched it today and I don't know what the eff you guys were watching but I thought it was sensational
  13. Wow I made the right move dumping nimmo
  14. Yes it is. My moms third time, once on Broadway, once at Millbrook Playhouse (near here) and now in Williamsport

  16. So hubby was right... What was his purpose? I thought maybe as a modern person coming across the remains of the civilization? It's great to think that a Tevye survivor was there. It was an awesome production. One night only...sleety day/evening but a pretty full house. We won't soon forget it
  17. That's just it! My husband thought it was the actor playing Tevye but Mom and I didn't think so
  18. Saw the play last night in Williamsport...had a question. At the end when the fellow shows up and leaves with the fiddler, who is he? In the play last night he looked to have on a modern red jacket, as though he's a tourist
  19. Benjamin Grimm wrote: Kirk Douglas is also 103 years old. That is incredible. How old is his son? Doesn't he have an actor son?
  20. Olivia deHaviland movies! I love her!
  21. Hated that one. No wonder you never went back
  22. Watched dvd with my grandkids yesterday. I didn't like ending (what I could hear of it) either, but you never know. V had to hide his face when dummies were on; I hate them too Parents a little indulgent over a lost Spork; but maybe little girl has issues My favorite part was the bunnies' fantasies to attack grandma!
  23. Sounds cute, as long as no wedding iccurs
