Also this weekend we watched a couple of JohnCandy movies again, and the better of them being this one. The highway scene practically had me peeing my pants. “Ah, they’re drunk. Thank you honk-honk!” John Candy is utter perfection. Steve Martins comedic timing is unparalleled. Haven’t laughed that hard in ages. Also watched Uncle Buck again, not as funny but still sweet.

We watched this yesterday. Apparently, it did not do well but we really liked it. Featuring Robert DeNiro in dual roles as two gangsters, Vito Genovese and Frank Costello. Everytime I see the name Genovese I think of Genovese Drug store from back in the day. The story of the two of these men and the Mafia in NYC and elsewhere, much to J Edgar Hoover's chagrin. I seem to recall MFS62 liking Debra Messing way back when; she is in this.

Ted Williams was pretty dang special. I would not sign Pete for more than 3 years at this point. I think he’s awesome sauce and I hope the Mets can keep him but there’s the little matter of his agent. Plus does Pete feel valued here? I myself made fun of his hair.
