  1. Biggest moment of this young season, and it falls on DJ's shoulders.

  4. Dude in nun drag is not as fun as all that.
  5. If we're going to fuck with the guy, we can't be giving him meatballs over the plate.
  6. Leaving a fat pitch over the plate for Hoskins, after keying him up with the boos, was unwise.
  7. Adames hit an RBI double but I think he missed first.
  8. Sometimes, the guy you want to use hasn't been cleared by the trainers, and won't be until game day. Sometimes, the guy you wanted to use has become unavailable at a late hour, and you and the coaches are still weighing your alternatives.
  9. Kingston's own Zack Short munched relentlessly on lefties during spring training, hitting .467 / .529 / .667 // 1.196 against southpaws. It was only 17 plate appearances worth of evidence, but if it's something that can extend into a regular way to deploy him, best to find out now while that evidence is within reach.
  10. Yeah, I got hurt. But it was a non-contact injury. And the surgery is common enough for futbol players, and they get back on the field and are able to do their cuts and explosions, right? I hope so. I'm kind of tall and long-limbed for a middle infielder, and maybe all that cutting and shuffling and accelerating and decelerating isn't the best thing for a guy of my build, and the future may be in the outfield, but I guess the relevant question for this thread is whether the future includes any 2024, because I need to get back on the field before all these new guys pass me on the depth chart. So when do I get back, and what happens then? 11. Don't pull your starting pitcher after six innings and 89 pitches when he's throwing a shutout?
  12. Well, the MVP was whoever positioned the Brewer defense. Always in the right place, and always making the plays. Alonso chasing the pitch against Megill for a popup was kind of our last best chance. PotG for the Mets is Kassie Harrelson.
  13. Six more outs, Mets. Show me some fire.
  14. Right or wrong, Rhys would do good to shut up and let his game speak for him.
  15. You can't un-Phillie Rhys Hoskins.
  16. Yeah, Pete kind of bonered up that inning chasing the first pitch after the leadoff walk.
  17. Looks like we shoulda stuck with Smith against the Cub Scouts.
  18. Might be a good time to investigate the options for offense.
  19. Alfonso Marquez has been showing how it's done behind home plate today.
  20. [FIMG=400]https://vz.cnwimg.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Mookie-Wilson.jpg[/FIMG] https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/74/Joe_Seneca.jpg/220px-Joe_Seneca.jpg>
  21. Smith throwing his slider for strikes is good Smith.
