I'd never heard of Arenado, I think, before our trip to Colorado. He looked like the perfectest ballplayer during that series. And that was a series that included Troy Tulowitzki, also at the top of his game. Crap injury for the Rockies.

I like Duda owning this one afterwards, in the sense that I need something to like. Hopefully, these guys shine to playing for each other. Another hopefully: Hopefully this is the game Wheeler turns a corner. The idea of loudmouthed Lagares detractors is silly. The guy is the biggest folk hero since John Henry. It's hard to know the mind of another man, much less one I don't know, but I feel safe in asserting that Collins is no Lagares detractor.

I assume, then, that a walkoff grand slam with the game tied 6-6 was ruled a 7-6 win instead of a 10-6 win. I kind of think those homers should be retroactively restored.
