  2. You gots to support yourself.
  3. This treacherous threat just gave up a dong on his first pitch to Jeff McNeil, who is making the world forget Daniel Murphy.
  4. Stroman's play was terrific, but McNeil's play was pioneering.
  5. Double checking and ... nope, that's correct. I guess it's because San Francisco has a murder of a schedule coming up. Checking them out, they've got Nats, Phillies, Athletics, D-Backs, Cubs, Athletics, D-Backs. And then in September, they have six against the Dodgers, four against the Cards, and three each against the Braves and Red Sox.
  6. I think there probably was an error in the work of your friendly over-complicating standings editor, and that was supposed to read 24.9%.
  7. Solid work, everybody, and especially Grimmstone. I think the upset of the tournament has to be McCall's losing to Jock.
  8. This should do it. https://metsinpeace.files.wordpress.com/2019/08/screen-shot-2019-08-05-at-11.53.58-am.png> https://metsinpeace.files.wordpress.com/2019/08/screen-shot-2019-08-05-at-12.39.05-pm.png>
  9. Nope. Please stand by.
  10. Fix't.
  11. The second one is the correct one obviously. I caught that mistake and fixed it, but didn't eliminate the right chart.
  12. Nobody in the National League had a better day than the Mets yesterday. They walloped their opponents and the rest of the division lost. So did a lot of teams ahead of them in the Wild Card Chase. They could pass two more teams today. Also, the Mets are right on their Pythagorean marker. While they play for a .500 record or more today, they are also playing to get even or tilt into the black with their RS/RA ratio. Now that Pittsburgh is closed for the season, be like cooby and root like hell for Pittsburgh. They are the Mets' nu best friends. (standings tables below)

  14. Davis needs a nickname. Per the Media Guide, JD's given name is Jonathan Gregory Davis, so "JD Davis" is "John Davis Davis". I'm sticking with Boss Hogg.
  15. Frazee's first game at first as a Met.
  16. Yeah, He's been out since June 23 with a hand laceration. Considering that your typical NHL player would get his hand stapled up and miss about a period, I imagine he and the Mets are using as much time as they can milk out of this DL assignment to work on his game.
  17. Dilson Herrera hit his 22nd homer last night.
  18. I'm kind of getting used to it with Diaz. I'm like "Oh, four-run lead? He'll give up a two-run homer." Until he puts that trend to bed and gets more people to chase his shit, the best way for the Mets to save a game will be to pad the lead. (OE: Which they did.)

  20. HE LAID OFF A SLIDER AWAY! I'm feeling good about this.
  21. Just need some decent contact here, Pete.
  22. Plate Canuck here. Second with no out.
  23. I'd certainly pay to see Boo play center.
