    Didn't know that John Denver covered that song. I only knew the Judy Collins version (she wrote it). At one point I remember there being talk of basing a TV movie (thems were still big back in the '90s) on the plot of the song. I guess nothing ever came of it. Or maybe it did and it's in regular rotation on the Lifetime Network ... I have no idea.

    it wasn't really a great throw (I think it three hopped in there) but it was the smart throw and an accurate one from a tough throwing position which wound up stealing an out.

    Goldschmidt's career OPS vs the Mets is only a shade higher than his overall OPS. It's not like the Mets are missing some secret formula.
